Our aim is to provide timely, accessible, and responsible financial support, ensuring that no student is forced to pause or abandon their education due to short-term financial difficulty. Our Purpose and Impact
Student charities play a vital role in promoting education, social mobility, and community support. Inspired by organisations such as The Access Project, upReach, First Give, the Unite Foundation, and International Students House (ISH), Anjoman Trust is committed to breaking down barriers to success.
Through targeted financial assistance and collaboration with educational and community partners, we help students remain enrolled, focused, and resilient during challenging periods of their academic journey.
Our Aims
The goal of the charity is to support students studying at UK universities who are experiencing financial hardship by helping to cover essential education-related costs, including part of their tuition fees. We aim to:
Provide short-term, interest-free loans and grants to students in genuine financial need
Support students facing unexpected or temporary financial hardship
Reduce the risk of students suspending or withdrawing from their studies
Promote fairness, inclusion, and equal access to higher education
Support students’ academic success and overall wellbeing
Manage all funds responsibly, transparently and in line with charity law

Support for Overseas Students
As part of our charitable aims, Anjoman Trust provides support to overseas students studying in the UK on a Student (formerly Tier 4) visa who hold Iranian nationality and demonstrate a clear intention to return to their home country upon completion of their studies.
This support is designed to assist eligible students during periods of financial hardship while remaining aligned with the charity’s educational objectives and legal responsibilities.
